A simple and elegant lamp made from lime into a new form with a new curvaceous and much heavier base and a simple elegant upright, I have defined and isolated an area for the stripes  which to my mind reminds me of a stripy sock on a leg.  The stripy section is all the more attractive and captivating for it being isolated. This lamp was painted in December and I think was inspired by the mid winter season, stained glass windows and wintery colours, in my product photos I have paired it with a printed shade made at the same time, and having a similar vibe. The height and new form this lamp takes suits it to a larger shade and it is photographed with  25CM shade and could take larger for instance 28cm. I’ve wired it with a navy twisted cable.

The lamp’s construction conforms to BSEN 60598-2-4 and have been assessed as meeting this standard by the Lighting Association. Â

I recomend the use of energy saving B22 bayonet fitting bulbs. This reduces the risk of heat generation and eliminates the need to specify what wattage to use. I particularly recomend the golfball shape B22 bulb either Halogen or LED types.Â

If using an out-dated incandescent bulb you must not use any bulb over 60 watts if the bulb is closer than 75mm to the shade.Â
Delivery & Returns
All lamps available for sale are in stock, and are thus available for a fairly rapid despatch. Lamp shades, if not unique, may need to be made which may delay despatch. If an order is especially urgent please contact me and I will endeavour to speed your order through. I am a one person business making all items and packing and posting my own products so sometimes things may get held up.
For higher value items I use either parcel force or Royal mail special delivery service these cover the vlaue of the item and require a signature upon delivery. For lower value items I may use standard royal mail options.
Returns
Any item may be returned within 14 days of delivery, this will be at your cost and on condition that the item or items are unused and undamaged. If an item is faulty I will pay the postage for the return.
