Yellow Lamp #690

A tall walnut lamp that has one long bold and elegant curve tapering eventually into the base where a small disc is painted in a green grey, a small but eye catching detail. The top section is polished walnut wood and the bottom section is painted in a warm ochre yellow with very fine handprinted blue vertical lines, skilful and facinating. The base has a very gentle curve that runs to near the edge then drops to a slightly lower ring, the base of the lamp is plain polished timber with a broken disc of the same green grey colour as the disc at the base of the upright. I have photographed it with a 35cm linen shade.

pale blue beech Lamp #772

A tall beech lamp that has one long bold and elegant curve tapering eventually into the simple base. . The top section is painted in a gorgeous pale blue , that suits the beech so well, the blue is decorated with fine hand painted pinstripes, which describe the curves of the lamp beautifully. The bottom section is simple with minimal decoration of a cream shape and a small red square. I have photographed it with a 35cm printed linen shade. Plain shades are available.

Red Cherry Lamp #773

A tall cherry lamp that has one long bold and elegant curve tapering eventually into the simple base. The tallest of the lamps that I make. The top section is painted in a gorgeous bright red, this colour sits so well next to the bare cherry wood of the rest of the lamp. The bottom section is polished cherry as is the base, it has a very warm toned grain. the base has a gentle curve and a ring of grey painted with fine lines, rather perfect! I have photographed it with a 35cm printed linen shade. Plain shades are available.

A tall walnut lamp that has one long bold and elegant curve tapering eventually into the base where a small disc is painted dark blue, a small but eye catching detail. The top section is painted in a rich and warm yellow with fine blue pinstripes describing the curvaceous contours of the turned shape, the bottom section and the base is unpainted and is simply polished walnut. The base has a very gentle curve from the blue disc. I have photographed it with a 35cm linen shade.

Pinstripe Lamp #613

A taller painted beech lamp, whose main feature is the one long wavy shape from the top to the edge of the base, fine black vertical pin stripes are painted on a rich teal ground and simply describe the contours of the shape, the lines are interrupted only by other thin lines that traverse the vertical lines to make three little sections of grid, I was delighted with this decoration, there is no colour just the teal blue and black set against the slightly darker colour of the beech wood. Simply beautiful and minimal, and featured in Country Rustic ‘objects of desire’. The base is painted in radiating black lines contained within circular lines. This lamp is photographed with a 25cm plain linen shade, it would be worth considering a unique linen shade covered or lined in colourful silk or any other unique shade either silk or paper.

A taller painted lime lamp, whose main feature is the one long wavy shape from the top to the edge of the base, fine grey pencil like vertical pin stripes are painted on a beautiful white ground and simply describe the contours of the shape, the lines are interrupted only by other thin lines that traverse the vertical lines to make three little sections of grid, I was delighted with this decoration, there is no colour just pale line decoration, the very top of the lamp is pale cream. Simply beautiful and minimal. The base is painted in the skirt motif I so often use, this time a little more dense. This lamp is photographed with a 25cm plain linen shade, it would be worth considering a unique linen shade covered or lined in colourful silk or any other unique shade either silk or paper.

Tall grey cherry Lamp #618

A tall cherry lamp that has one long bold and elegant curve tapering eventually into the simple base. The bottom section is painted in a soft and light grey and is painted with charcoal grey fine pin stripes, this colour sits so well next to the bare cherry wood of the rest of the lamp. The top curvaceous section is polished cherry as is the base, it has a very warm toned grain. the base has a gentle curve and one small painted detail of a cadmium red rectangle, rather perfect! I have photographed it with a 35cm linen shade.

Lamp #495/499/500

A medium height lime lamp of bold curves that is painted in a single colour, the palest pin stripes ( like pencil) are painted the entire length of the lamp, and which finally splay out onto the base in my ever favourite skirt motif, On the “waists” of the curves, as if cinching in the imaginary fabric are more lines which contain bands of colour, the inspiration for this design is the draped fabric of ancient Greek figurines This lamp is photographed with 26cm linen shade, it would be worth considering a unique linen shade covered or lined in colourful silk or any other unique shade either silk or paper. There is a higher stock level than one for this lamp, you may not receive the lamp photographed but one almost identical.
