Fine hand painted pale brown vertical pin stripes describe the curves and angles of this lamp beautifully, painted on a ground of airmail blue, in one section and on two tones of warm ochre  and brown in the top section, there are areas of unpainted lime and the overall feel of this lamp is fresh and light. The base is very beautiful in its minimalism with only a narrow band of contrasting stripes. On the top and the section near the base a warm ochre tone is contained with thin dark grey lines. This lamp has a filled knot which has been gilded with gold leaf  This lamp is photographed with a 25cm plain linen shade,  though a 23cm would also be appropriate.

The lamp’s construction conforms to BSEN 60598-2-4 and have been assessed as meeting this standard by the Lighting Association. Â

I recomend the use of energy saving B22 bayonet fitting bulbs. This reduces the risk of heat generation and eliminates the need to specify what wattage to use. I particularly recomend the golfball shape B22 bulb either Halogen or LED types.Â

If using an out-dated incandescent bulb you must not use any bulb over 60 watts if the bulb is closer than 75mm to the shade.Â
Delivery & Returns
All lamps available for sale are in stock, and are thus available for a fairly rapid despatch. Lamp shades, if not unique, may need to be made which may delay despatch. If an order is especially urgent please contact me and I will endeavour to speed your order through. I am a one person business making all items and packing and posting my own products so sometimes things may get held up.
For higher value items I use either parcel force or Royal mail special delivery service these cover the vlaue of the item and require a signature upon delivery. For lower value items I may use standard royal mail options.
Returns
Any item may be returned within 14 days of delivery, this will be at your cost and on condition that the item or items are unused and undamaged. If an item is faulty I will pay the postage for the return.
