A tall walnut lamp that has one long elegant curve that tapers into the base where a small green disc painted with radiating blue-black lines marks the joint, a small but eye-catching detail. The top section is plain timber and is a rich walnut on this lamp, the bottom section is painted in a mellow green with very dark blue-black pin stripes The pin stripes as usual describe the tapering shape of the turned wood,. The unpainted timber is simply rich polished wood grain. The top of the shelf, just under the lamp-holder, is also bare timber. I have photographed it with a 35cm linen shade.

The lamp’s construction conforms to BSEN 60598-2-4 and have been assessed as meeting this standard by the Lighting Association. Â

I recomend the use of energy saving B22 bayonet fitting bulbs. This reduces the risk of heat generation and eliminates the need to specify what wattage to use. I particularly recomend the golfball shape B22 bulb either Halogen or LED types.Â

If using an out-dated incandescent bulb you must not use any bulb over 60 watts if the bulb is closer than 75mm to the shade.Â
Delivery & Returns
All lamps available for sale are in stock, and are thus available for a fairly rapid despatch. Lamp shades, if not unique, may need to be made which may delay despatch. If an order is especially urgent please contact me and I will endeavour to speed your order through. I am a one person business making all items and packing and posting my own products so sometimes things may get held up.
For higher value items I use either parcel force or Royal mail special delivery service these cover the vlaue of the item and require a signature upon delivery. For lower value items I may use standard royal mail options.
Returns
Any item may be returned within 14 days of delivery, this will be at your cost and on condition that the item or items are unused and undamaged. If an item is faulty I will pay the postage for the return.
