An oak lamp with an angular profile, favourite angles sitting together within this composition, only the very top and the bottom are decorated on this lamp. The base is decorated in an asymmetrical manner and the lovely oak grain underneath is visible through the paint and revealed in one section, it has been decorated in a minimal composition, with ochre, cream and grey squares and with one small rectangle on the opposite side, quite beautiful. The top section also has an attractive asymmetrical decoration in neutral colours and reminds me of the cornish landscape artist Peter Lanyon.  This lamp is photographed with a 25cm linen shade, the simplicity of the colour scheme and shape means many shade options could be considered as well as plain linen., and shade sizes 23cm to 26cm could be considered. It is wired with gold twisted cable, has a black in line switch and a black plug.
