An oak lamp with an angular profile, favourite angles sitting together within this composition and I think embodies a certain perfection of proportions, only some small sections are decorated on this lamp. The base is decorated in an asymmetrical manner with a beautiful tonal black wash and the figured oak grain underneath is visible through the paint and revealed in one section, it has been decorated in a minimal composition, of one wash  overlapping another.  The very top of the lamp is painted in a minimal manner, of a cream wash and two fine black lines. This lamp is photographed with a 25cm linen shade, the simplicity of the colour scheme and shape means many shade options could be considered as well as plain linen., and shade sizes 23cm to 26cm could be considered. It is wired with cream twisted cable, has a black in line switch and a black plug. The last two photos in the carousel are of similar but different lamps.
