This shade is made up from a length of hand printed linen on which I silk screened a large abstract composition which was intended to be cut up and to give up random compositions. It is backed onto a semi transparent laminate backing, and has a stitched seam.

I have used lampshade making materials that comply with BSEN-60598-1-2008 British Standards for Luminaries,
thus making them fire proof.
I recomend the use of energy saving B22 bayonet fitting bulbs. This reduces the risk of heat generation and eliminates the need to specify what wattage to use. I particularly recomend the golfball shape B22 bulb either Halogen or LED types.
If using an out-dated incandescent bulb you must not use any bulb over 60 watts if the bulb is closer than 75mm to the shade.

Shades can be returned within 14 days of delivery, items unless faulty are returned at the cost of the buyer.
