A really pretty lamp made from Beech Timber with cotton reel motif painted in fine and bright multi-coloured stripes right down onto the base ending in thin bands of yellows ,pinks and reds, it has a pale grey edge. This is a pretty lamp, it has pale pink bobbin with fine line decoration and is wound with cream thread, there is a section of natural wood washed lightly with white above this and then a section at the very top painted in an off white and decorated with fine lines.  This lamp has an overall feel of warmth and lightness, it will always hold interest as there are so many interesting juxtapositions of colours within it. This lamp is photographed with a 20cm plain linen shade, it would be worth considering a unique linen shade covered or lined in colourful silk or any other unique shade either silk or paper.
