A lovely fine striped lamp made from lime timber with a cotton reel motif, it is painted in fine and colourful multi-coloured stripes right down onto a simple base where there are broader bands of colour.  This is a lively lamp and has so many bright colours,  it has a pale grey bobbin and is wound with pale grey thread, there is a section of natural wood  above this and then a section at the very top which is painted the same pale greywith fine brown lines.  This lamp will always hold interest as there are so many interesting juxtapositions of colours.. This lamp is photographed with a 20cm plain linen, it would be worth considering a unique linen shade covered or lined in colourful silk or any other unique shade either silk or paper.

The lamp’s construction conforms to BSEN 60598-2-4 and have been assessed as meeting this standard by the Lighting Association. Â

I recomend the use of energy saving B22 bayonet fitting bulbs. This reduces the risk of heat generation and eliminates the need to specify what wattage to use. I particularly recomend the golfball shape B22 bulb either Halogen or LED types.Â

If using an out-dated incandescent bulb you must not use any bulb over 60 watts if the bulb is closer than 75mm to the shade.Â
Delivery & Returns
All lamps available for sale are in stock, and are thus available for a fairly rapid despatch. Lamp shades, if not unique, may need to be made which may delay despatch. If an order is especially urgent please contact me and I will endeavour to speed your order through. I am a one person business making all items and packing and posting my own products so sometimes things may get held up.
For higher value items I use either parcel force or Royal mail special delivery service these cover the vlaue of the item and require a signature upon delivery. For lower value items I may use standard royal mail options.
Returns
Any item may be returned within 14 days of delivery, this will be at your cost and on condition that the item or items are unused and undamaged. If an item is faulty I will pay the postage for the return.
