A pretty striped lamp made from lime with a cotton reel motif, the lamp is painted in fine and bright multi-coloured stripes, the stripes go all the way down and on to base ending in simpler broader bands of greys, creams and orange with minimal thin lines of other complimentary colours. This lamp has a porcelain white bobbin with blue fine lines and is wound with a thin band of pale pink thread, there is a section of natural wood above this and then a section at the very top painted in a rusty wash and painted with one fine maroon line that spirals to the very top.  This lamp will always hold interest as there are so many interesting juxtapositions of colours within it, great on a bedside table! This lamp is photographed with a 20cm plain linen shade, it would be worth considering one of my unique silk screen printed shades as well. A 23cm shade would also be appropriate.
