A lovely striped lamp made from lime with a cotton reel motif, the lamp is painted with a bright and fine multi-coloured stripes, the stripes go all the way down and on to base ending in simpler broader bands of browns, pink and orange  with minimal thin lines of other complimentary colours. This lamp has a lovely simple  bobbin, painted in a bright cream with fine blue vertical pinstripes  and has a tiny thin line of navy blue thread, there is a section of natural wood above this and then a section at the very top painted in two tones of white and rusty orange  and is painted  with fine lines, like an old fashioned dial.  This lamp will always hold interest as there are so many interesting juxtapositions of colours within it, great on a bedside table! This lamp is photographed with a 20cm plain linen shade, it would be worth considering one of my unique silk screen printed shades as well. A 23cm shade would also be appropriate.
