A really bright striped lamp made from lime with a cotton reel motif, the lamp is painted with bright and fine multi-coloured stripes, the stripes go all the way down and onto  the base ending in simpler broader bands of steely grey, pink and orange  with minimal thin lines of other complimentary colours. This lamp has a bright little reel painted in blue but underpainted in orange the reel is wound with orange thread, there is a section of natural wood above this and then a section at the very top painted in two tones of grey and brown  and is painted  with fine blue lines, like an old fashioned dial and finished with white dots.  This lamp will always hold interest as there are so many interesting juxtapositions of colours within it, great on a bedside table! This lamp is photographed with a 20cm plain linen shade, it would be worth considering one of my unique silk screen printed shades as well. A 23cm shade would also be appropriate.
