A colourful and bright lamp made from lime with a cotton reel motif, the lamp is painted with a bright and fine multi-coloured stripes, the stripes go all the way down and onto an exquisite base with a beautiful simple decoration in simpler broader bands of browns with accents of lilac, just lovely!. There is also of orange on this lamp making it feel especially bright, this lamp has an angular pink reel and is wound with a narrow band of pale pink thread.  There is a section of natural wood above this and then a section at the very top painted with a single grey line, on a pale white ground,  spiralling all the way to the top.   This lamp will always hold interest as there are so many interesting juxtapositions of colours within it, great on a bedside table! This lamp is photographed with a 20cm plain linen shade, it would be worth considering one of my unique silk screen printed shades as well. A 23cm or 25cm shade would also be appropriate.
