A colourful lamp made from lime with a cotton reel motif, the lamp is painted with  bright and fine multi-coloured stripes with a regular repeat of orange and red that goes all the way down and onto an exquisite base with a beautiful simple decoration in simpler broader bands of greys with accents of green and orange, just lovely! In the photo of the lamps base a filled knot has been covered and embellished with a small piece of gold leaf . This lamp has a wide reel wound with bright pink thread. There is a section of natural wood above this and then a section at the very top painted in two tones of off white and grey and painted with fine vertical grey lines.  This lamp will always hold interest as there are so many interesting juxtapositions of colours within it, great on a bedside table! This lamp is photographed with a 20cm plain linen shade, it would be worth considering one of my unique silk screen printed shades as well. A 23cm or 25cm shade would also be appropriate.
