An light, elegant and  colourful lamp made from lime with a cotton reel motif, the lamp is painted with fine multi-coloured stripes, there is a wide reel wound with charcoal thread both the reel and the top of the lamp are painted in the same shade of “stone” and the very top has the most  simple decoration, a spiral created  by my drawing a loaded tiny paint brush along at slow speed. The base has broader and simpler bands of greens and greys with blue and maroon accents.  This lamp will always hold interest as there are so many interesting juxtapositions of colours within it, great on a bedside table! This lamp is photographed with a 20cm plain linen shade, it would be worth considering one of my unique silk screen printed shades as well. A 23cm or 25cm shade would also be appropriate.

The lamp’s construction conforms to BSEN 60598-2-4 and have been assessed as meeting this standard by the Lighting Association. Â

I recomend the use of energy saving B22 bayonet fitting bulbs. This reduces the risk of heat generation and eliminates the need to specify what wattage to use. I particularly recomend the golfball shape B22 bulb either Halogen or LED types.Â

If using an out-dated incandescent bulb you must not use any bulb over 60 watts if the bulb is closer than 75mm to the shade.Â
Delivery & Returns
All lamps available for sale are in stock, and are thus available for a fairly rapid despatch. Lamp shades, if not unique, may need to be made which may delay despatch. If an order is especially urgent please contact me and I will endeavour to speed your order through. I am a one person business making all items and packing and posting my own products so sometimes things may get held up.
For higher value items I use either parcel force or Royal mail special delivery service these cover the vlaue of the item and require a signature upon delivery. For lower value items I may use standard royal mail options.
Returns
Any item may be returned within 14 days of delivery, this will be at your cost and on condition that the item or items are unused and undamaged. If an item is faulty I will pay the postage for the return.
